Golden Pursuit Resources (TSXV: GDP) has officially launched its 2025 exploration program targeting its properties at the Gordon Lake Project in the Northwest Territories, Canada. The initiative seeks to advance geological understanding of high-grade mineralization at the Myrt Lake, Murray Lake, and DAF properties.
The exploration plan encompasses detailed litho-structural mapping, as well as extensive rock and till sampling. In a bid to enhance geological modeling, a comprehensive property-scale photogrammetry and magnetics drone survey will be conducted throughout the areas of interest.
Key infrastructure developments include the construction of an all-weather road to connect Gordon Lake with Tibbit Lake, promising to significantly reduce exploration and drilling costs. Golden Pursuit's exploration permits for the project, which extend through 2030, reflect the approval of both governmental and First Nations authorities.
The Gordon Lake area, rich in exploration history dating back to the 1930s, contains numerous gold showings and has seen significant exploration and mining activity over the years. Current assay and multi-element geochemical analyses are being processed by ALS laboratory, with results anticipated by October 2025.
