TruGolf (TRUG, Financial) Holdings recently revealed the completion of a definitive agreement to acquire mlSpatial, a firm specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning engineering. This acquisition is set to enhance TruGolf’s product offerings, which include the Apogee Launch Monitor, Launchbox, Multisport Arcade, and E6 Apex, by integrating cutting-edge AI technology.

The partnership between TruGolf and mlSpatial originally commenced in March 2024 through a licensing deal aimed at co-developing an AI engine. This engine focuses on boosting the 9-axis spin accuracy of the Apogee Launch Monitor. With the acquisition of mlSpatial, TruGolf plans to incorporate sophisticated AI capabilities throughout its range of products. This strategic move is expected to elevate user experience by providing improved training suggestions and player insights.
