District Metals Corp. (OTCQB:DMXCF) has successfully completed a helicopter-borne Mobile MagnetoTellurics System (MobileMT) survey at its Viken Property in Sweden. Commenced on June 3, 2025, the survey mapped the mineralized Alum Shale host rock of the Viken Energy Metals Deposit, corroborating historical geological data and validating this geophysical survey for further use at the company's other properties.

The advanced exploration stage at Viken Property aims to enhance technological capabilities for identifying mineralized Alum Shale. The complete results and interpretations of the survey are anticipated to be released in Q3 2025, providing valuable insights into the depth and thickness of the mineralized shale, essential for optimizing mining efficiency.

Following the success at Viken, District Metals has initiated another MobileMT survey at its Alum Shale Properties located in Jämtland and Västerbottens Counties, north-central Sweden. This new survey will cover approximately 2,700 line kilometers with a 200-meter line spacing. The endeavor is focused on identifying potential mineralized Alum Shale targets for drilling confirmation, particularly in the shallowest and thickest areas.

CEO Garrett Ainsworth remarked on the technological breakthrough achieved by the MobileMT survey, expressing confidence in leveraging the geophysical signature identified at Viken to prioritize drill targets at the Alum Shale Properties. This strategy supports the company's disciplined science-based exploration approach, aiming to create shareholder value and optimize future resource developments.
