Under this contract, Itron will deploy its Enterprise Edition Meter Data Management (MDM) system to oversee 7.7 million meters, alongside its Utility IQ headend system to manage nearly 1 million new smart NB-IoT cellular meters. This deployment aims to enhance operational efficiency and customer service while providing enhanced insights into energy consumption.
The system's cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) capabilities will help HEDNO reduce upfront capital requirements and benefit from a predictable, recurring revenue model.
