Forum Energy Metals (OTCQB: FDCFF) and Baselode Energy (TSXV: FIND) have announced the commencement of their collaborative exploration campaign at the Aberdeen Project in Nunavut. The ambitious program plans to utilize two diamond drills to complete up to 7,000 meters of drilling across 18-25 designated drill holes. The focus will be on 10 high-priority target areas, with initial attention directed to the Loki and Bjorn locations.

Previous drilling activities at the Loki site in 2024 indicated promising uranium values, measuring 30 times above background levels, with considerable clay alteration observed in the sandstone. This year's exploration aims to demonstrate the project's high potential for uranium discovery by investigating multiple prospective targets with blue-sky potential. Drilling operations are slated to begin in July 2025, pending ongoing camp mobilization efforts.

The program will explore both sandstone-covered targets, such as traditional unconformity targets, and basement-only targets. Notable areas like Loki and Bjorn will be the first to undergo testing due to their promising geological indicators. The endeavor is poised to highlight the exploratory potential of the Aberdeen Project, further enhancing its attractiveness within the mining and energy sectors.
