Hong Kong IPO Market Set for Strong Year with Up to 100 Listings

PwC announced in a press conference in Hong Kong that it anticipates 90 to 100 companies will go public in the city this year. The total IPO fundraising is expected to reach between HKD 200 billion and HKD 220 billion. In the first half of the year, 44 companies went public in Hong Kong, marking a 47% increase in the number of IPOs compared to the previous year. The fundraising amount surged by 701%, reaching HKD 107 billion.
