FTI Consulting, Inc. (FCN) has announced the appointment of Natasha Passley as Senior Managing Director in the cybersecurity practice within its Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment. Based in Sydney, Passley's arrival is poised to bolster FTI's cybersecurity capabilities in Australia, responding to the increasing threats and regulatory changes in the region.

Passley, who previously served as the National Financial Services Cyber Partner at a Big Four firm, brings over two decades of expertise in security, risk, and technology. Her significant experience includes leadership roles at Insurance Australia Group, Australia's largest insurer, where she led major cybersecurity transformations and implemented regulatory compliance programs.

With a specialization in cyber readiness, regulatory compliance, and security transformation, Passley's appointment aligns with the rising need for robust cybersecurity frameworks, as Australian businesses face intensified regulatory scrutiny and heightened penalty risks. This strategic hire reinforces FTI Consulting's commitment to providing expert-driven cybersecurity solutions that address complex security challenges and protect business operations.

Anthony J. Ferrante, Global Head of the Cybersecurity Practice at FTI Consulting, highlighted the importance of strong cybersecurity programs, remarking that they are essential for organizational resilience amid geopolitical tensions and regulatory shifts.
