General Mills (GIS, Financial) has announced the return of its Cereal Training Camp for the second year, collaborating with NFL stars Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, and Amon-Ra St. Brown. The cereal giant is bringing an extra dose of excitement with limited-edition cereal boxes and a new custom cereal creation.
This year’s highlight is the Jettas Mix, a unique blend of Frosted Lemon Cheerios and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Strawberry, personally crafted by Justin Jefferson. The new cereal is described as "tastes like a touchdown" with its fruity fusion.
The Cereal Training Camp initiative, scheduled for an August launch, showcases special edition boxes featuring each player with their own signature end-zone dance. Jefferson's "The Griddy" finds its place on Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Chase's "Lucky Strut" on Lucky Charms, and St. Brown's "Honey Handstand" on Honey Nut Cheerios.
For dedicated fans, a limited collector’s edition REESE’S PUFFS cereal box will be available on Walmart.com beginning September 4. This exclusive package includes custom trading cards and a Bluetooth speaker, but only while supplies last.
General Mills remains a leader in the packaged foods industry, reporting fiscal 2025 net sales of $19 billion and continued strategic growth guided by its Accelerate strategy.
