American Express (AXP) has announced significant enhancements to its Business Platinum Card® benefits, providing over $2,000 in potential value to U.S. cardholders through statement credits. These enhancements include newly available credits for purchases with Dell Technologies and Adobe, effective from July 1, 2025, with additional benefits expected later in the year.
The company is poised to make its largest investment yet in refreshing its U.S. Consumer and Business Platinum Cards. The expanded benefits aim to bolster business growth, efficiency, and opportunities, according to Raymond Joabar, Group President of Global Commercial Services at American Express.
In addition to the new partner credits, cardholders continue to enjoy benefits with partners such as Hilton and Indeed. The Business Platinum Card also offers comprehensive travel advantages tailored for business leaders, including access to the American Express Global Lounge Collection®, which leads the industry with over 1,550 lounges worldwide. New Centurion® Lounge locations are planned for Haneda Airport in Tokyo and Salt Lake City International Airport in 2025 and Newark Liberty International Airport in 2026.
The cardholders are entitled to exclusive benefits at Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection properties, providing amenities such as guaranteed late checkouts, room upgrades when available, and on-property credits. For employee management, cardholders can obtain additional Employee Business Platinum Cards or Business Expense Cards to suit their operational needs.
Further supporting business operations, the Business Platinum Card offers Virtual Cards for secure transactions and a Pay Over Time feature allowing a flexible payment approach for eligible charges. Overall, these updates aim to reinforce the card as a strategic asset for business management while maintaining American Express's commitment to premium service and innovation.
