Graphano Energy Ltd. (TSXV: GEL) has announced the initial Mineral Resource Estimate for its Lac Saguay Graphite Project in Québec, Canada. The project boasts significant high-grade graphite resources with 1.64 million tonnes at 7.00% graphitic carbon (Cg) in the Indicated category and 1.58 million tonnes at 7.00% Cg in the Inferred category. These resources contain 115,000 and 111,000 tonnes of Cg respectively.

The project includes both the LAB property and the Standard property, strategically located near major transportation routes and the Lac-des-Iles processing facility. Furthermore, the project benefits from high-grade mineralization close to the surface, allowing for immediate access and the potential for selective mining.

Graphano Energy plans to advance the development of the Lac Saguay project through extensive infill drilling, bulk sampling programs, metallurgical testing, and environmental studies. These steps aim to upgrade resources from the Inferred to Indicated and Measured categories, supporting potential economic extraction by open-pit mining methods.

The company is optimistic about expanding the project's resource potential. Six additional mineralization zones identified through geophysical work at the LAB property signify future exploration opportunities. Moreover, with a projected 90% metallurgical recovery rate, the project positions itself as a high-value source of graphite for the burgeoning energy market.
