BWX Technologies, Inc. (BWXT) has announced the receipt of contracts worth approximately $2.6 billion from the U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. The contracts include future year options and primarily focus on manufacturing components for Virginia and Columbia-class submarines, along with certain Ford-class aircraft carrier parts.

The products from these contracts are scheduled for delivery over the next six to eight years. BWXT's facilities, located in Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, and Virginia, will contribute to the production and assembly of these complex naval nuclear reactors.

Gary Camper, President of BWXT's Nuclear Operations Group, expressed that the BWXT team is proud to support the U.S. Navy's national security mission by producing essential hardware. This latest award builds upon the $2.1 billion in contracts that BWXT announced in February, further solidifying its legacy of over 70 years of service to the Navy.

The execution of these contracts comes with certain risks and uncertainties, including potential modifications or terminations and delays in performance, which BWXT has duly noted as forward-looking statements. Investors and stakeholders are advised to refer to BWXT's recent annual and quarterly reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a detailed discussion of these risks.

BWXT, a major player in the aerospace and defense industry, is a Fortune 1000 company with significant operations in North America. The company engages in providing nuclear solutions for global security, clean energy, and various other sectors.
