Sify Technologies (SIFY) unveiled its financial results for Q1 FY 2025-26, highlighting a robust revenue growth of 14% year-over-year, reaching INR 10,723 million. This growth is supported by a significant 18% increase in EBITDA to INR 2,111 million. However, the company reported a net loss of INR 389 million, expanding from a loss of INR 52 million in the same quarter last year, due to heightened operational and financial costs.

Breaking down Sify's revenue streams, Network Services contributed 41%, Data Center Services accounted for 37%, and Digital Services made up 22%. The expansion of infrastructure was notable with the commissioning of 8.6 MW of additional Data Center capacity and a 10% increase in fiber nodes, bringing the total to 1,159 across India. Additionally, Sify now operates 9,661 SDWAN service points, underscoring its commitment to infrastructure development.

The financial strain during the quarter is attributed to increased depreciation charges, rising interest expenses, and operational costs, reflecting in a net debt rise to INR 30,321 million from INR 23,115 million a year ago. Despite these challenges, Sify's management emphasized the strategic importance of these investments aimed at leveraging India's burgeoning digital and AI transformation.

During the quarter, Sify secured multiple new contracts across all segments, including collaborations with global IT leaders and large banks for enhanced network, data center, and cloud services. The company is optimistic about its long-term growth prospects, driven by substantial investments and an evolving digital infrastructure landscape in India.
