Stephen Holmes (Insider Trades), CEO, chairman and president of Wyndham Worldwide Corp. (WYN), bought 25,000 shares in the company on Feb. 10. The average price per share was $64.66 for a transaction of $1,611,000.

Wyndham Worldwide provides hospitality services and products around the globe. The company has a market cap of $7.51 million and a P/S ratio of 1.34.

There were no insider buys in the company from 2012 to 2016. Aside from Holmes’ transaction above, two other Wyndham Worldwide insiders increased their stakes. Franz Hanning (Insider Trades), president and CEO of Wyndham Vacation Ownership, and director James Buckman (Insider Trades)Â bought 10,000 and 1,600 shares of Wyndham Worldwide at average per share prices of $64.91 and $63.77.

The company reported net revenue of $1.31 billion in the fourth quarter of 2015, up from a net revenue of $1.23 billion in the fourth quarter of 2014. Net income in the fourth quarter of 2015 also increased from $81 million, or 65 cents per share, to $140 million, or $1.21 per share when compared to the corresponding quarter of 2014.

Wyndham Worldwide's board of directors increased the quarterly cash dividend from 42 cents to 50 cents per share beginning in the first quarter of 2016. The company also repurchased 2.2 million shares of its common stock for $165 million in the fourth quarter of 2015.

In addition, the board approved a $1 billion increase in the share repurchase authorization.
