President Donald Trump’s plans for tax reform continued to help stocks on Friday. Economic reports affecting market trading included the following:

• Import and export prices were reported. Import prices increased 3.7% for the year and export prices increased 2.3%.
• The University of Michigan’s Consumer Sentiment Index decreased to 95.7.
• The North American Baker Hughes rig count increased to 1,093.

The Dow Jones Small-Cap Growth TSM Index closed at 8260.57 for a gain of 51.12 points or 0.62%. The Dow Jones Small-Cap Value TSM Index closed at 9814.26 for a gain of 73.89 points or 0.76%.
