Corning (GLW, Financial) is engaged in the manufacturing of specialty glass. They expect their gas particulate filters to become a significant business in China following the finalization of emission-related regulations in December 2016. Corning recently made a deal to provide Gorilla Glass for moderately priced smartphones that are within the reach of many of India’s customers—the second largest smartphone market in the world.
