The U.S. stock market opened slightly higher, with President Trump making a deal on Hurricane Harvey relief with Democrats, but closed mixed with only the Nasdaq in green. Ahead of that, three stocks have interesting upside movements.

Shares of RH (RH, Financial) jumped more than 40% in Thursday trading on the back of the company reporting better-than-expected earnings for its first quarter. EPS of five cents were in line with expectations, but revenue of $562.08 million beat estimates by $3.54 million and increased 23.4% year over year.

Moreover, shares of NewLink Genetics Corp. (NLNK, Financial) soared more than 70% due to positive results from a Phase 2 clinical trial, which evaluated the combination of indoximod and Merck's (MRK) Keytruda (pembrolizumab) in patients with advanced melanoma.

Intra-Cellular Therapies Inc. (ITCI, Financial) shares rose 16% on positive topline data from the first part of a six-week, open-label safety switching study in which 302 patients with schizophrenia were switched from old antipsychotic medications to lumateperone.
