ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 11, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Willis Towers Watson ( WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, today announced that Anne Pullum will assume the role of Head of Western Europe. Pullum will succeed Paul Morris, who will retire at the end of May 2019.

Pullum currently serves as Willis Towers Watson’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Head of Strategy and Innovation. Previously Willis Group’s Head of Strategy, Pullum played a key role in determining the Group’s direction and strategy, during which time she worked closely with leadership in France to complete the acquisition of Gras Savoye. Pullum joined Willis in May 2014 from McKinsey & Company, where she served financial services and natural resource clients. She holds an M.B.A from INSEAD and a bachelor’s in International Economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

Morris joined the Wyatt Company in 1988, and has served as senior consultant and partner of Watson Wyatt Partners, Director for International Consulting Services, Managing Director for Towers Watson Europe, the Middle East and Africa and his current role as Head of Western Europe.

Speaking to Pullum’s appointment, John Haley, CEO, said, “Anne’s skills and expertise are an excellent fit to continue the growth and evolution of Western Europe.”

Pullum said, “I’m excited at the prospect of leading Western Europe, a region full of diversity of opportunity. With our market leading client experience, backed up by impeccable service and a wealth of data and analytical tools to drive insights and solutions, we are ideally placed to support the needs of our Western Europe clients.”

On Paul Morris’s retirement, Haley said, “I would like to thank Paul for his long service and significant contributions to our company and to wish him the very best going forward.”

In further leadership changes announced today, Anne Bodnar will take on the role of CAO, in addition to her responsibilities as Chief Human Resources Officer. As CAO, Bodnar will now take responsibility for Innovation, Strategy, Marketing and Communications, Marketing Insights and Knowledge Management and Research.

In addition, the company announced an expansion to Mike Burwell’s role as CFO, which will see the Operations and Technology function, headed by David Shalders, report into him.
