backtesting longer than 10 years

does GF plan to have backtesting periods that go further back than 10 years. 10 years is interesting, but ultimately, you're still subject to the law of small numbers bias. it's fun to look at it but the timeframe needs to be extended.

Yes. With our Premium Plus membership, you can run the backtesting from 2006 to the present.

I am a premium member and have access going back to 2006, but I think Gurufocus should increase it 50 years or so. 10 years is still to short a timeframe. Are you guys looking into that? I think it would be a GREAT value add.
No. We don't have complete data for backtesting earlier than 2006. We would love to.
