Era Group Inc provides helicopters and related services. The company's helicopters used to transport personnel to, from and between offshore oil and gas production platforms, drilling rigs and other installations.

Era Group Inc is one of the largest helicopter operators in the world. Its helicopters are primarily used to transport personnel to and from offshore oil and gas production platforms, drilling rigs, and other installations. In addition to serving the oil and gas industry, the company provides air medical services, utility services to support firefighting, mining activities, tours, and other events. Additional revenue is generated by leasing helicopters to third parties. If the market supports it, Era Group may choose to access local markets through subsidiaries and strategic alliances with foreign partners. Most of the total revenue is derived from the Gulf of Mexico, with the remainder split between Alaska and non-United States territories.
