HeidelbergCement AG operates in the building materials industry. Its product portfolio comprises of cement, aggregates, and ready-mixed concrete.

HeidelbergCement is one of the world's largest producers of cement, aggregates, and ready-mixed concrete. The company sold 125 million metric tons of cement, 287 million metric tons of aggregates, 9 million metric tons of asphalt, and 48 million cubic meters of ready-mixed concrete in 2016 on a pro forma basis. Of its revenue, 27% was generated in Western and Southern Europe, 24% in North America, 18% in Asia Pacific, 14% in Northern and Eastern Europe-Central Asia, 10% in Africa-Eastern Mediterranean Basin, and 7% by group services.
