Insteel Industries Inc is an America-based manufacturer of steel wire reinforcing products for concrete construction applications. The company's products include prestressed concrete strand, or PC strand, and welded wire reinforcement, or WWR. PC strand is a high-strength, seven-wire strand that is used for providing reinforcement for bridges, parking decks, buildings, and other concrete structures. WWR is either a standard or a specially engineered reinforcing product used in construction. The company's products are sold primarily to concrete manufacturers serving the nonresidential construction segment. The company generates almost all of its revenue from the American domestic market.
