Cliffs Natural Resources Inc is a mining and natural resources company. The Company is engaged in supplying iron ore pellets to the North American steel industry from its five iron ore mines and pellet plants located in Michigan and Minnesota.

Cliffs Natural Resources is the largest producer of iron ore in North America, operating mines in the United States and Canada that supply nearly 50% of North American blast furnace demand. The company also operates an iron ore mine in Australia and several coal mines in the U.S. and owns a large chromite project in Canada.
