Energy Transfer Equity LP is a limited partnership company. The Company through its subsidiaries, owns and operates, natural gas gathering systems, natural gas intrastate pipeline systems and gas processing plants.

Energy Transfer Equity owns a 100% general partner interest, incentive distribution rights, and a 1% limited partner interest in Energy Transfer Partners, which owns a large platform of crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids assets primarily in Texas and the U.S. midcontinent region. After the 2017 merger with Sunoco and the PennTex unit purchase, ETP owns 71,000 miles of pipelines and a large network of refined product distribution. ETE separately owns 100% of Energy Transfer LNG, which is developing a gas liquefaction facility at Lake Charles.
