Ternium SA is a producer of steel products. It is engaged in manufacturing and processing of flat and long steel products for construction, home appliances, capital goods, container, food, energy and automotive industries.

Ternium's steelmaking operations across Latin America offer a total production capacity of roughly 11 million metric tons per year. The company uses both electric arc furnaces and a blast furnace to manufacture a wide range of steel products. Operating predominantly from Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia, Ternium also owns a large equity stake in Brazilian steelmaker Usiminas.
