VASCO Introduces eSignLive Cloud-Based Mortgage Solution to Enable Completely Digital Mortgages

eSignLive Digital Mortgage Solution provides comprehensive digital management of electronic signatures, document delivery, closing, and vaulting

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., March 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (NASDAQ:VDSI), a global leader in digital solutions including identity, security and business productivity, today announced the availability of the eSignLive Digital Mortgage Solution, a comprehensive eMortgage solution available in the cloud. The components of the solution include e-signatures, e-Delivery, e-Closing and e-Vaulting and can be used as a comprehensive suite or as standalone applications to help ensure regulatory compliance and improve the customer experience with a completely digital mortgage process.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s recent implementation of the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) rule, along with tightening regulatory controls, has resulted in widespread demand for technology that helps ensure compliance across the mortgage industry. Consumers, banks, lenders and others in the industry are increasingly embracing components of digital mortgage technology as a way to bring transparency, accountability, security and an improved consumer experience to the mortgage process. “Homebuyers have demanded digital mortgages for years, however many industry stakeholders were not ready to replace paper,” said VASCO Vice President of Product Strategy for eSignLive, Michael Laurie. “Today, investors, lenders, counties, title companies and others are not only ready, but rapidly adopting the digital mortgage for its speed, efficiency and ease-of-use.” The eSignLive Digital Mortgage Solution enables the eMortgage process at each stage with advanced features: E-Signatures and e-Delivery ensure quick delivery and acceptance of the mortgage application disclosure package. A patented active audit trail captures the applicant’s intent during the loan application and provides borrowers with a pre-closing review of the package to meet TRID closing disclosure timing requirements.E-Closing advanced security and workflows enable the review, signing and notarization of documents in the closing package in PDF while supporting SMART Doc format for the mortgage note, as well as secure transfer of the authoritative copy of the note to an e-Vault.E-Vaulting stores, assigns and services electronic mortgage notes in compliance with the United States Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce (ESIGN) Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). It maintains legal control over the authoritative copy, while also providing automatic registration, transfers and all other operations through the MERS eNote Registry required by investors like Fannie Mae, as well as lenders, custodians and servicers. PointClickCare Technologies Integrates eSignLive to Enable Secure Digital Onboarding with E-Signatures

The eSignLive e-signature solution offers a patented active audit trail and HIPAA compliance to ensure the security and integrity of resident data

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., March 23, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (NASDAQ:VDSI), a global leader in digital solutions including identity, security and business productivity, has announced  PointClickCare Technologies Inc., the leading cloud-based software platform for the senior care continuum, has integrated eSignLive e-signatures into PointClickCare’s Document Manager solution. This integration allows for a seamless and efficient resident onboarding process and helps long-term care providers improve the accuracy and security of resident information.
From onboarding through indexing, archiving and retrieving, eSignLive e-signatures streamline the resident admission and discharge process, as well as the routine management of documents. With eSignLive’s HIPAA compliance and patented active audit trail, all documents signed, processed, and stored in PointClickCare’s Document Manager remain secure and compliant. “In addition to the well-being of patients, protecting their private information should be a top priority for health care providers,” said VASCO Vice President of Sales and Marketing NA, Ilene Vogt. “We are committed to helping health care organizations meet compliance and security standards by offering a solution that is HIPAA compliant and offers anti-tampering controls and a detailed audit trail. These safeguards ensure accountability by delivering a more transparent process.” Typically, resident onboarding at long-term care facilities involves two separate processes. First, resident data is entered into an electronic health record (EHR) platform. Then, the same information is entered again on an electronic or paper form. PointClickCare’s Document Manager retrieves resident information directly from the EHR and auto-populates the data into the specified document, eliminating the need for duplication. This saves time and ensures the process is completed correctly, meets compliance requirements and creates a central location for resident documentation that can be easily accessed. “Working with partners like VASCO Data Security allows us to bring our customers solutions that help improve their day-to-day business processes,” said PointClickCare Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, David Belbeck. “We chose to leverage eSignLive for our Document Manager solution to help our customers quickly and seamlessly manage patient onboarding.  The goal for any care provider is to deliver the best quality care in the most efficient way possible and we believe this integration will allow our customers to achieve this goal.” To learn more about eSignlive’s integration with PointClickCare Document Manager, and how it will help care providers increase internal efficiencies and streamline onboarding processes, visit: www.himsslearn.org/e-signatures-digital-onboarding-your-healthcare-organization. U.S. Census Bureau to Save $1.2 Million Annually by Automating Performance Reviews with eSignLive

The new digitized process will increase operational efficiencies for all 15,000 Census employees

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., March 14, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (NASDAQ:VDSI), a global leader in digital solutions including identity, security and business productivity, today announced the U.S. Census Bureau has chosen eSignLive™, the e-signature choice for government, as the e-signature solution for the Bureau's new automated performance management system. Built using the eSignLive SharePoint workflows, the Bureau's system digitizes the entire performance management process and keeps it from falling to paper, even when a signature is required. This innovative approach will increase operational efficiencies and save the Bureau $1.2 million annually by removing the need for paper and shipping. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management's mandated performance management process entails three review points throughout the year, each requiring multiple signatures. Currently, a full review cycle for one of the Bureau's remote employees can take up to 90 days to complete. With 8,000 field employees, the Bureau needed a way to expedite the process while ensuring the highest level of data security, compliance and auditability. The Bureau selected eSignLive to integrate with its automated performance management system because it is the only e-signature solution hosted on a FedRAMP SaaS-level compliant cloud as well as its proven PIV compliancy (HSPD-12), essential for use with derived credentials. eSignLive also brought a robust audit trail, white-labeling capabilities and scalability to ensure security, compliance and the ability to deploy and grow the solution across other areas of the Bureau. Once the Census Regional Offices performance plan is fully automated the expectation will be that e-signature capability will be put to work as an Enterprise Service, benefiting many other processes and use cases within the Agency. The Bureau will deploy its automated performance management system to 8,000 field workers in the spring and to 7,000 employees at Headquarters and in regional offices in the fall. Once in use, the new system will enable all employees to submit and sign performance review forms electronically on any device, reducing turn-around time per employee by 70 percent, all while tracking progress and providing complete transparency and auditability of the signing ceremony. "There is no single technology driving the digital transformation initiative - it's about the convergence of multiple technologies and scalable solutions," said eSignLive President, Tommy Petrogiannis. "Implementing best of breed solutions like eSignLive is a foundational first step toward an end-to-end digital government because it improves operational efficiency and creates transparency, helping drive home the importance of digitization."
