AquaVenture Holdings Ltd was established on January 29, 2014 in Delaware. AquaVenture is a multinational provider of Water-as-a-Service, or WAAS, solutions that provide its customers with a source of clean drinking and processed water. It delivers its solutions through two operating platforms: Seven Seas Water and Quench. Seven Seas Water is a multinational provider of desalination and wastewater treatment solutions, providing 7 billion gallons of potable, high purity industrial grade and ultra-pure water per year to governmental, municipal, industrial and hospitality customers. Quench is a U.S.-based provider of Point-of-Use, or POU, filtered water systems and related services to institutional and commercial customers. Seven Seas Water business offers WAAS solutions by providing outsourced desalination and wastewater treatment services for governmental, municipal, industrial and hospitality customers. Its solutions utilize seawater reverse osmosis, or SWRO, and other purification technologies to produce potable and high purity industrial process water in high volumes for customers operating in regions with limited access to potable water. The Company is a provider of water to the Caribbean market, U.S. Virgin Islands, or the USVI, Dutch Sint Maarten, or St. Maarten, and the British Virgin Islands, or BVI. It also maintains plant operations in Trinidad and Curaçao. It currently owns and operates nine water treatment facilities in the Caribbean region producing over 7 billion gallons of purified water per year under long-term contracts. Its Quench business offers WAAS solutions by providing bottleless filtered water coolers and other products that use filtered water as an input, such as ice machines, sparkling water dispensers and coffee brewers, to customers across the United States. It offers solutions industries, including government, education, medical, manufacturing, retail and hospitality. Its competitors include engineering, procurement and construction, or EPC, companies, project developers and other outsourced service model companies.
