The 77 Bank Ltd operates mostly in the Miyagi prefecture of Japan, which is in the southeast Tohoku region of the island of Honshu, and the bank's strategy emphasizes the prefecture's link between Tohoku and Tokyo. The bank is a group that engages in leasing, credit card, and other financial services in addition to the banking business. Most of the bank's earning assets are almost entirely from loans and bills discounted and investment securities.
