Gabelli is an example of a billionaire who managed to reach success being a broker during new times pending the end of 70’s.To tell the truth, details of his story are really fascinating. His name is familiar to me as I used to be into financial studies and once I wrote the essay about companies that had turned into the diversified financial services corporation.

It is interesting to see how many of these issues have been acquired or are in the process of being acquired. Is this the result of superior analysis or insider information?

Is it possible to track the "Gabelli focused fund"? Its a fund based on GAMCO's best ideas.
