An interesting roundtable Discussion featuring: Robert Shiller, Professor of Economics, Yale University, and co-author of the Case-Shiller index, Stephen Roach, Senior Research Fellow, Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, Thomas Cooley, Stern School of Business, NYU, Moderator: Ernesto Zedillo, Frederic Iseman '74 Director, Yale Center for the Study of Globalization.

The topic of the discussion is whether the Dodd-Frank bill will work to prevent a repeat of the current financial crisis. The topic is lengthy but if you have time its worth the watch.

I personally think no legislation can prevent this crisis from occurring again. As regulators make rules, banks will find loopholes around. The best regulation is to constantly monitoring Wall Street and be able to adapt to changes and pass legislation in a timely manner.
