Breakfast with Warren Buffett may soon be just a memory. The billionaire has long released his annual letters to Berkshire Hathaway (BRK-A/BRK-B ) shareholders on Saturdays in early March, allowing eager investors and acolytes to digest Buffett's thoughts with their morning coffee.

A Securities and Exchange Commission rule requiring faster disclosure has prompted a change.

Berkshire said it will release its 2005 annual report and shareholder letter from Buffett on Saturday morning, as usual.
