High Yield Stocks With Ex-Dividend Date August 2011

I screened some interesting high yield stocks with ex-dividend date within August 2011. The ex-dividend date is a major date related to the payment of dividends. If you purchase a stock on its ex-dividend date or later, you will not receive the next dividend payment. Instead, the seller gets the dividend. If you purchase before the ex-dividend date, you get the dividend.

As a result of my screening, I found 69 high yielding stocks paying forthcoming dividends and having ex-dividend within August 2011. The average yield amounts to 6.05 percent. Here are my favorites:

1. Pfizer (PFE, Financial) is acting within the pharmaceuticals industry. The company has a market capitalization of USD 158.5 billion, generates revenues in an amount of USD 67.56 billion and a net income of USD 8.45 billion. It follows, Price/Earnings ratio is 19.1, Price/Sales 2.4 and Price/Book ratio 1.8.
