Here is a current sheet of the best dividend paying stocks from the office REITs industry. The whole industry has a total market capitalization of USD59 billion. One year before, I screened the industry by the best yielding office REITs as of 2010. Since the first day of screening, the number of stocks has significantly changed as well as the industry capitalization. Today, 17 of 18 companies pay dividends and 10 of them have a yield of more than 10 percent.


Here are the three top dividend stocks by market capitalization:


Boston Properties (BXP) hasa market capitalization of $13.66 billion. The company employs 680 people, generates revenues of $1,550.80 million and has a net income of $190.33 million. The firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $859.00 million. Because of these figures, the EBITDA margin is 55.39 percent (operating margin 33.57 percent and the net profit margin finally 12.27 percent).


The total debt representing 58.33 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 178.06 percent. Due to the financial situation, the return on equity amounts to 3.61 percent. Finally, earnings per share amounts to $1.09 of which $2.00 were paid in form of dividends to shareholders last fiscal.


Here are the price ratios of the company: The P/E ratio is 85.04, Price/Sales 9.06 and Price/Book ratio 3.05. Dividend Yield: 2.10 percent. The beta ratio is 1.39.


Digital Realty Trust (DLR, Financial) hasa market capitalization of $6.62 billion. The company employs 454 people, generates revenues of $865.40 million and has a net income of $105.41 million. The firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounts to $502.68 million. Because of these figures, the EBITDA margin is 58.09 percent (operating margin 27.59 percent and the net profit margin finally 12.18 percent).


The total debt representing 52.67 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 143.03 percent. Due to the financial situation, the return on equity amounts to 4.95 percent. Finally, earnings per share amounts to $1.24 of which $2.02 were paid in form of dividends to shareholders last fiscal.

The total debt representing 43.76 percent of the company’s assets and the total debt in relation to the equity amounts to 88.23 percent. Due to the financial situation, the return on equity amounts to 4.70 percent. Finally, earnings per share amounts to $2.91 of which $1.50 were paid in form of dividends to shareholders last fiscal.
