Robert Shiller, economic professor from Yale University, well known for the S&P/Case Shiller Index, was on Bloomberg to provide his outlook for the U.S. housing market.

-- Recent uptick in house prices is a short term trend and is a seasonal
-- We have still not resolved Freddie and Fannie, the unemployment rate is still very high, the economy is still weak, and all these uncertainties will ensure house prices stagnate or coming down.
