Professors Robert Shiller and Karl Case of Case-Shiller Housing index were on Bloomberg to discuss the current state of the housing market and impact they can expect going forward from the recent Fed's stance of further easing.
--Should Fed be easing more? Yes, easing long-term rates helps the housing market, but there is a limit and impact is very marginal.
-- U.S. census bureau data shows that new household formation data is showing an upward trend and lot of single people are finally moving out of their mom and dad's houses and that is a good trend for housing going forward.
