Interesting interview. Thanks!

IMO, every investor should own some BRK stock. DCA on dips - this is my new realization from a recent Mohnish Prabai interview.

Thanks. Always good to hear from Mason Hawkins et al.

I thought the quality of the questions was relatively low, however, and showed that the questioner(s) had not done their homework on Longleaf. Questions on LVLT, BRK and LUK could've been more insightful and penetrating.

Questions were very poor quality-and interviewer had no idea, what they are doing during the last quarter.

what about Loews,Fairfax---?

Bad interview

We did send a lot more questions to Longleaf. But that is what we got back. You can read an earlier interview here

That interview is a year and a half old. I wish the other questions posed were answered

The interview looks current to me, based on date at top and based on information provided in answers. Definitely not 18 months old because they have not owned some of those stocks mentioned that long.

On another note, I understand the difference between Global and International but since they already have an International fund, as well as the Partners fund in which they can invest up to 25% ( I think) in non-domestics, I find it curious they are opening a Global fund. I don't think I would be in all 3. I would either be in only the new Global fund, or would be in both the Int'l and Partners fund. I have to believe there will be a decent amount of overlap, given Longleaf's evaluation process leaving a very small universe for them to invest in, between investments in all 3 funds.

Quite disappointing that Dell was not covered again after the further major drop in the price and the negative coverage that it is getting. Dell has been a long-term holding in Longleaf Partners.
