Famous Yale University professor and housing expert Robert Shiller, creator of the Case-Shiller housing index, was on CNBC to discuss his views on the housing recovery and whether he is jumping and calling it a full recovery. Here are his views:
-- Housing may be recovering; all the indicators are giving positive signals.
-- But he thinks people overreact.
-- He has seen four attempt at a housing recovery since the housing crisis, but it turned out to be seasonal, so he is not ready to call a full housing recovery yet.
-- Would like to see a solid year of price increases before calling it a recovery.
