Spectral MD Holdings, Ltd. (AIM: SMD), an artificial intelligence (AI) company focused on the development of faster and more accurate medical diagnostics for treatment decisions in wound care, announces today that results from its 2018 Proof of Concept Study were published in the peer-reviewed journal, Journal of Burn Care & Research. The study, titled ‘Clinical Investigation of a Rapid Non-invasive Multispectral Imaging Device Utilizing an Artificial Intelligence Algorithm for Improved Burn Assessment’, indicates that Spectral MD’s DeepView® technology could play an important role in aiding the earlier diagnosis of burn wounds, including indeterminate burns. The study is available at the Journal of Burn Care & Research online.
