Where Mohnish Pabrai Finds Great Investing Ideas

January 14, 2013 | About:
Here is how we can look for ideas like Mohnish Pabrai:

- He watches the 52-week lows, looks at stocks that have lost the most value over the past year, looks at stocks with the lowest PE ratios, etc.
- Pabrai scans the 13F filings of all the Gurus (Watsa, Buffett, Klarman, Third Avenue, Longleaf). He should subscribe to GuruFocus (maybe he does)!
- He subscribes to a few investing digests and various investing websites.

He sifts through these sources and then focuses on those that appear cheap and are within his circle of competence.

There's a related video where Pabrai talks about what he learned from meeting Buffett and Munger. I thought Munger's comments particularly interesting.
