The market did significantly better this week than the previous ones, and the S&P500 only dropped about 3 points, or 0.2%. There are also not as many 52-week low stocks as before. The Banking and Retail industry have also recovered. Last week’s top five out of favor stocks were GlaxoSmithKline plc, Novartis AG, AnheuserBusch Companies Inc, Sun Microsystems Inc, and Progress Energy Inc.


Banking continues to be out of favor, although not as much as the previous week, where the low/high ratio of the banking industry was 33. Food and Beverage stocks are also out of favor, with 9 stocks reaching their 52-week lows and 2 reaching their 52-week highs.
