The question for the legendary Soros at the beginning of the interview is, "Is there one global economic issue that concerns you today?"

At the top of the Soros list is the European crisis, but immediately behind it is the lack of global cooperation.

Soros notes the conflict between the almost universal adoption of quantitative easing around the globe with the fact that Germany is trying to impose strict financial discipline upon Europe.

Japan is desperately trying to escape the type of situation that Germany is now trying to put in place.

All of the quantitative easing around the world might be okay if it was done in a coordinated manner, but as it is being done on a competitive currency devaluation basis it is going to lead to great instability in the financial markets.
