Congratulations to MritikCapital!

A great article and IMHO the deserved winner of a contest with many excellent entries.

I'm a bit surprised that my Quadracci article got the lowest score for analytical depth though. After giving the matter some thought I can see how that could be improved by crunching some numbers and adding some insightful graphs.

BUT.... 2 points for the comments? Ouch!

Since three other articles with precisely 0 comments got awarded more points, it seems my comments actually had the effect of lowering my score.

Dear Batbeer2,

I very much enjoyed your article on QUAD. While you may have been criticized for analytical depth, I applaud your estimating the present day value of the stock -- and how you arrived at it. This is something that is sadly missing from many other articles, including the one on NOV.

BTW, I also like the fact that in your articles you are often very specific in explaining certain aspects of a business that are not immediately apparent. For example in your QUAD article I loved learning about the rotogravure press. Articles that teach me things about a business are much more valuable than ones that merely list facts culled from a table of historical financials.

I sincerely hope it was not my comments on your QUAD submission that cost you the 2 points....

How could articles with no comments get more points?

I think the editors owe you a recount!!
