During the first quarter of 2013, Guru Bill Ackman bought one new stock, increased his stake in one and decreased another. Ackman’s current portfolio consists of 10 stocks and is valued at $10.068 billion.

The following two stocks are the companies he increased and decreased his holdings in.



Burger King Worldwide Inc. (BKW)

Ackman made a small increase in his holdings of Burger King. The guru increased his holdings by 0.03% by adding 10,760 shares at an average price of $18.01 per share. Since his buy Burger King’s share prices have increased 4.4% from the average purchase price. Ackman’s holdings of Burger King have a portfolio weighting of 7.3%, and he now owns a total of 38,372,120 shares of BKW.

Burger King Worldwide is a company that franchises and operates fast food hamburger restaurants. The company generates revenues from two sources — retail sales at company-owned restaurants and franchise and property revenues.

Matson Inc (MATX)

Since this sell the price per share of Matson has dropped 0.3%. Ackman still holds on to 3,033,985 shares of Matson. These holdings make up 0.74% of his total portfolio.
