Thanks very much. Welcome to the 2020 Geron Corporation Annual Stockholders Meeting. It's now 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time, and the meeting will please come to order.
My name is Dr. John Scarlett, and as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Geron Corporation, I'll be presiding over this meeting. The meeting is scheduled to last for 1 hour.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, for the safety of all our stockholders and personnel and taking into account recent federal, state and local guidance, we're holding this year's annual meeting in a virtual meeting format only via the Internet with no physical in-person presence. This virtual meeting format enables any stockholder to vote real time during the meeting and to submit questions while the meeting is in process.
