I appreciate the opportunity to speak here on a fine Thursday afternoon in Miami. It's not something I could say very often in the oil and gas business. So we'll get this kicked off.
Going through Slide 3 here today, this is a snapshot that we have for the company. You'll notice that our production is in the shelf part of the Gulf of Mexico. However, the deepwater portion is catching up and catching up fairly rapidly. We're very pleased with the advances we've made in the last few years of deepwater drilling and exploration and acquisition. Clearly, we'll go into the Mobile Bay transaction that we just completed in -- at the end of August and give you a little more information on that. But suffice to say that the company is pretty well capitalized for what we
