So good morning, everyone. Thanks for joining us for the presentation of the Watches of Switzerland Group half year results for the half year to October 2020. My name is Brian Duffy, I'm the CEO of the group.
And just looking at our agenda for the presentation, I'll do an overview of the group performance. I'll be followed by Craig Bolton, who will give an update on the U.K. performance. David Hurley will then join us from New York to give an update on the U.S. business. And then our CFO, Anders Romberg, will review the financial results in some more detail and also a review of our guidance for the year. After our presentation, we'll be open to take any questions that you may have.
If you look at the half year, overall, we're very happy with what we've achieved. Our strategies are clearly working, and we see no reason to change them at all. Our performance overall for the half year was a reduction in sales year-on-year of 2.6%. That was minus 7.4% in the U.K. and a positive 11% in the U.S. And that came from a
