We initiated a small size position in VMware, Inc. (VMW, Financial) A creator and a leader in the rapidly maturing software virtualization market, the company continues to innovate and grow its addressable market. We were intrigued by the acquisition of Nicira, an early leader in the Software Defined Networking (SDN) space, which we've been following for a while. As the SDN market begins to emerge, we believe VMWare's growth will re- invigorate and its position as an innovator and a thought leader will be re- established.
