General Motors announced Tuesday it plans to spend $1.4 billion on expanding and improving its SUV factory in Arlington, Texas, to meet demand for its vehicles.

Van Den Berg also purchased a 378,480-share stake in Allegheny Technologies Inc (ATI, Financial), a specialty metals company based in Pittsburgh, for an average price of $33.02 per share. The acquisition had a 1.74% impact on his portfolio.
