Bond heavyweight Jeff Gundlach says that the Fed should not raise interest rates.
He thinks that it would be too much of a negative surprise for the market at this point in time.
Gundlach believes that the bond market has priced in only a 30% chance of the Fed raising rates. The past several times that the Fed has raised rates the bond market has priced in a 100% chance of a rate increase.
Gundlach references a sickly junk bond market which is near a four-year low.
