Berkshire Hathaway will acquire Indiana RV company

An Indiana recreation vehicle manufacturer will become a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc.

Omaha billionaire Warren Buffett's holding company announced Wednesday it will acquire Forest River, Inc., from its founder and CEO, Peter J. Liegl.

Liegl will continue to manage Forest River from its headquarters in Elkhart, Ind., Berkshire said. The company employs 2,400 and generated $250.5 million in sales last year.
