Joel Greenblatt Is Not Sure About Apple but Owns It Anyway

Why he invests in Apple

Noted investor of Gotham Funds and inventor of the Magic Formula Joel Greenblatt (Trades, Portfolio) described several views on iPhone maker Apple (AAPL, Financial) on CNBC last week. He said while some investors think it is a tech company about to flame out, and others think it is a products company with room to grow, he is not sure who is correct.

Apple shares traded down 6.1% this year. The stock is priced at $98.85 Monday with a 0.95% gain.
